Dr. Silva’s vision is to exceed your expectations of a dental practice and bring you world-class service and quality at a price you can afford. She knows dentistry is not always fun, and it can be expensive, so she and her team work hard to remove the barriers between patients and the healthy smiles they want.
Her drive comes from her family. Her parents left Nigeria and worked four jobs between them so that Dr. Silva and her five siblings could get an education. That lesson shaped who she is today: never settle for average, always strive for excellence. In her words, “The distance between dreams and reality is called action.”
Dr. Silva believes in treating the whole oral system for balance, comfort and lasting results. She sees it as her job to teach you about your oral health so you can make good decisions about your care. You make the decisions; she gives you clear options and recommendations, and together you build a plan around your goals, budget and life.

Dr. Nelly Silva
Dr. Strassberg earned his BA in Art History at Boston University and his dental degree at Tufts School of Dental Medicine. He served as a dental officer in the United States Army Dental Corps in Germany, where he received the US Army Air Defense Artillery Certificate of Achievement for exceptionally meritorious service. He then completed his residency in periodontics at Tufts in 1987 and has practiced periodontics ever since.
He is skilled in all areas of periodontics and keeps current through continuing education. Outside the office, he enjoys time with his family and his dog Casper, exercising, reading and travel.
